In 2014, Priyanka Gill, launched POPxo, India’s largest digital community for women. An ambitious entrepreneur, she built the company into a highly data driven media-tech platform that drives over 200 million engagements every month. Priyanka was ahead of the market in spotting the big gap in female-focused content. She created POPxo as a safe and empowering destination for women users. Today, over 39 million users log over 3 million active hours on all POPxo platforms in a month. POPxo videos alone garnered over 150 million video views in Nov’18. POPxo has become the voice for Indian women. In June 2017, Priyanka recognised the need to bring individual influencers on to a single platform for brand positioning and marketing. She launched Plixxo, India’s largest influencer marketing platform with over 35000 influencers. A year later, as part of her growth plan for the company, Priyanka decided it was time the company ventured into the long-form video content space. This led to the launch of the web series called ‘Unmarried’. With a viewership of 11 million, the move was a massive success. Priyanka’s most recent achievement is the launch of POPxo in six languages – English, Hindi, Marathi, Bangla, Tamil and Telugu.
