Anam Hashim, 25, became the only women rider in India to take up the sport of Stunt Riding ( Streetbike Freestyle) performing all over the country in 2013. In 2015 she had the opportunity to test her skills riding a 110cc scooter to Khardung – La pass alone in 18 days covering 2150kms. That was her first LIMCA BOOK of Records citation for being the first female rider to do the epic journey. The following year she signed on as brand ambassador for TVS and trained 10 other women to make the journey on a 110cc scooter setting another record at LIMCA.
Deciding to leave contract work so she could hone her own skills, she trained hard in 2017 and participated in the Indonesian Stunt Competition in Jakarta where she came 3rd. Last year, Anam built a racing bike and took part in Cross Country Rally Racing in India, and became the first-ever woman to complete the event in the first attempt. Anam is now preparing for the Indian National Rally Championship & Desert Storm and other major races in India.
